Is DEMO-SLAP free?
You can use it for free. During the beta your balance is topped up to 17 credits every day if you have less, enough to analyze a match and render your best highlights. Need more? Buy a credit bundle or donate CS2 items you do not use.
What does Steam sign-in give DEMO-SLAP access to?
Your Steam credentials stay with Steam. You sign in on Steam’s own page, and DEMO-SLAP can only read publicly viewable Steam profile information.
Where do my matches come from?
Connect FACEIT or Steam match sharing once and new Premier, Competitive, Wingman and FACEIT matches are added by themselves. You can also paste a demo link from your Steam match history or upload a .dem file.
How long are my matches and clips stored?
Matches, clips, montages and exports are removed 90 days after they were created. Download anything you want to keep.
My render failed. Do I lose credits?
No. Failed renders are refunded automatically, and you can try again from the clip.
Why can my demo not be analyzed or rendered?
Demos played on community servers with a Workshop copy of a map are not supported, and demos from older CS2 versions may fail. Steam also deletes demos after about 30 days, so older matches cannot be downloaded any more.
Do purchased credits expire?
No. Purchased credits do not expire and are non-transferable. For a refund of unused credits from a card purchase, write to info@demo-slap.net within 14 days of the purchase.
Can I use DEMO-SLAP from Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. Add the MCP connector to any assistant that supports remote connectors with OAuth, including Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Then ask it to analyze a match or render your best rounds.
